AKERE MUNA, the UNIVERS Party candidate for the 2025 election, is an international lawyer, former President of the Cameroon Bar Association, and former President of Transparency International, a global organization fighting corruption and embezzlement of public funds. His activities around the world have led him to meet numerous heads of state and government, with whom he has often had the opportunity to discuss political affairs. This article is intended to demonstrate that the UNIVERS Bet Candidate has always been a statesman, maintaining relationships with heads of state and government around the world. In Cameroon, he has consistently refused to be a civil servant or even to hold state office under the successive political regimes of Ahidjo and Paul Biya. He has always preferred this independence, which allows him to better combat the corruption of those who hold positions of political power in Cameroon.
